The Canon DR-7580 is a true high-speed desktop production scanner, designed to fit into even the most modest budgets. With the DR-7580, virtually all businesses can now afford access to Canon's renowned image quality and reliability for optimized throughput. With scanning speeds of up to 75 pages-per-minute simplex and up to 150 pages-per minute duplex, the DR-7580 is capable of producing both black-and-white and grayscale images at a resolution of up to 600dpi. Additionally, the DR-7580 will give your business the ultimate in flexibility, with its ability to handle virtually all documents, with various thickness, and as large as 11" x 17."

Features

Dual SCSI-III and USB 2.0 interfaces offer high-speed connectivity, and together with industry-standard ISIS® and TWAIN drivers, you can be assured of multi-platform compatibility and streamlined installation. Canon's unique Multistream™ technology enables you to generate multiple images in various combinations from a single scan. Output options include black & white, grayscale or colour dropout. The DR-7580's high-capacity 500-sheet Automatic Document Feeder will self adjust automatically to each document size or thickness in a mixed batch. With its patented Staple Detection System, the DR-7580 automatically stops the scanning process in its tracks whenever it detects a staple that could damage documents and reduce throughput. The DR-7580's unique Ultrasonic Multifeed Detector avoids doublefeeds or overlaps, and monitors each document for abnormal length, thickness or gaps. It will suspend scanning upon detection to send an error alert to the operator.
